Please kindly tells me the eligibility criteria of the Joint Entrance Test (JET) for Rajasthan University and also tell the applying procedure for the same exam???? please kindly reply for the above mentioned query?????

The Joint Entrance Test is also known as Rajasthan JET examination. The JET Agriculture is a state level entrance test organized by the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. This examination is a gateway for admissions in different courses like B.Sc. Agriculture (Honours), B.Tech-Food Technology, B.Sc. Horticulture (Honours), B.Sc. Forestry (Honours) and many others. The application fee will be Rs. 2800/- for general, OBC & SBC candidates and Rs. 1400/- for SC, ST and PC candidates. Eligibility: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any other recognized board securing at least 50% marks for general and 45% marks for reserved categories. In the 12th examination, candidates must have any of the following subjects, i.e. Chemistry, Physics, Agriculture, Biology or Mathematics. Age: The maximum age limit will be 25 years Important Dates: (Expected) Application form release 1st March 2017 Last date to submit the application Second week of April 2017 Online admit card download Second week of May 2017 Exam date 21st May 2017 Display of OMR sheet & answer key Fourth week of May 2017 Last date for objection Fourth week of May 2017 Result declaration Last week of May 2017 Counselling starts First week of June 2017 Exam Pattern Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through pen and paper based mode. Answer Mode: Candidates have to mark their answer with the black ball point pen. Marking Scheme: Four marks will be given for each correct answer Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
