Raleigh Durham Black MBA

I have heard a lot about the training program of National Black MBA Association, Inc. located in Raleigh Durham. Can you please provide all details about Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program and what are the key areas of this training program so that I can decide to join this training?

The National Black MBA Association leads in the creation of educational opportunities and economic growth for African Americans.

NBMBBA Mission:

Provide innovative programs to stimulate intellectual and economic growth
Build partnerships with key stakeholders to help facilitate this growth
Increase awareness and facilitate access to graduate management education programs and career opportunities in management fields
Develop youth by providing a framework to deploy business practices

About Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program:

The LOT program is a national network of middle and high school students and distinguished professionals who focus on empowering African American students.

Inclusion of LOT PROGRAM

Meet 2nd Saturday of the month
Workshops
Mock business case competition development (3rd Saturday of the Month)
College tour (will occur during the week)
Field trips (2nd and/or 3rd Saturday of the month or during the week)
CEO Day (High School Seniors ā€” will occur during the week )
Professional Day (Non High School Seniors ā€” will occur during the week)
Community events (MLK Service Day, Black History Month Parade, Lemonade Day, Habitat for Humanity and Juneteenth)
Annual Conference and Success Boot Camp

Key areas of focus:

Habits and discipline
Understanding your potential
Vision development and goal setting
Developing a plan of action
Acquiring the resources and developing the relationships needed to reach goals
Measuring progress towards achievement
