Hi I am interested in having the information about Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pattambi as well as the major programmes undertaken at the station?

Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pattambi was built up in twelfth March 1927. It was renamed as Agricultural Research Station in 1930 and as Central Rice Research Station in 1962. This Station was assumed control by Kerala Agricultural University in 1971. With the usage of NARP, the station was moved up to the status of RARS in 1981 and made the HQ of the Central Zone.

Mandate of the Station

Era and exchange of innovation identified with rice and rice based trimming framework, beats, vegetables, natural cultivating and seed innovation.

Major Programmes of the Station

Eighty Five ongoing research projects/experiments are there in the station. The major programmes are :-
