Re: RBI Exam Time Duration
The Reserve bank of India (RBI) Assistant Exam is held online. One is asked questions from 5 sections – Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. All the tests except the English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi. Each of the above tests will be objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Use of keyboard is restricted during the exam and will have to select correct options using the mouse. The candidates can attempt any question from 1 to 200 at any point of time within these 120 minutes. All the questions have five answers, only one will be the correct answer. There will be four options for one question. Out of which, the candidates will have to select one option. The alternative/ option that you have clicked on will be treated as your answer to that question. The time for the test is 120 minutes; however one needs to be at the venue for approximately 180 minutes including the time required for logging in, the collection of the call letters, going through the instructions etc. RBI Assistant Exam Pattern Marking Scheme • Mark to be assigned for one correct answer : 01 mark • Number of question in each test : 40 • Total number of questions : 200 • Maximum marks for each test: 40 • Maximum marks in the exam: 200 • Total time duration for the exam : 02 hours The number of questions answered correctly is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for wrong answers. The corrected scores so obtained are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in different sessions to arrive at the equated scores. Scores obtained on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms. Testwise scores and scores on total are reported with decimal points up to two digits. |
