Re: Required marks in 12th to get admission in Anna Univ B.Tech course

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission conducted by the Anna University, Chennai is a state level entrance test for admission to the undergraduate B.E/ B.Tech degree courses offered by the institutions or colleges located in the limits of Tamil Nadu state

Eligibility

Applicants must be the native of Tamil Nadu state are eligible to apply.

The outside Applicants studied their schooling in Tamil Nadu may also apply.

Applicants must have passed the 12th or its equivalent exam from the government recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with the percentage as 50% (for general Applicants), 45% (for backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) Applicants.

Exam Pattern:
The exam paper will be the objective type question paper asked from the Intermediate subjects as math, physics and chemistry.

The examination will be held in English language only.

The duration of paper will be of 2 & half hours.

There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.

The TNEA 2015 will comprise in 150 questions.

Date of TNEA 2015 notification – First week of May 2015

Date of the issue of TNEA 2015 application forms – First week of May 2015

Last date of issue of TNEA 2015 application forms – Second Half of May 2015

Last date of Submission of the TNEA application forms – End of the May 2015

Date of the TNEA 2015 examination – June 2015

Date of TNEA 2015 Results – End of the June 2015

Date of counselling for engineering admission – July 2015
