To become an English Lecturer you need to appear in the NET examination, which is conducted by the UGC. This exam is conducted every year twice one in the month of June and Second in the month of December. The eligibility conditions for the UGC NET examination is as following:

The applicant should have completed master’s degree in the respective subjects with minimum 55% marks from any recognized university of India.
