The eligibility for admission to Master of Technology (M. Tech) Part Time courses in Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishvavidhyalaya, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh is as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

M.E./M. Tech. (Part Time) :


One should be a Graduate in Engg/Technology with at least 50% marks.
One, belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories of Madhya Pradesh with minimum 45% marks.

Bachelors degree is of minimum of 4 years duration should have been obtained from any AICTE approved institution or Indian University or from a foreign University recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or institute recognized by the AIU as equivalent thereto.

M.E./M. Tech. (Part Time) Experience:

For seeking admission in part time course, one must have 02 years of experience in the relevant field after passing the qualifying exam.

Experience should be form recognized institute i.e. Central/ State Govt. Department, Public or Private sector, Undertakings located in M.P. and engaged in Production/ Maintenance/Construction in engineering field. In case of contractors they must be at least Class'A' contractor.

Work place should be located within 60 k m from the city in which engineering college is situated.

(i) List of branch wise eligibility of M.E./M. Tech (Part time) courses in which qualified candidates as per their qualification of respective branch of UG for admission is given in M.E./M. Tech (Full Time) admission rules.
(ii) One in the Final year of above degree exams can also apply on provisional basis. But at the time of counselling, such candidates shall have to produce the original certificate of having passed/mark sheet (Showing aggregate marks) of the degree program.
(iii) Rounding of marks or percentage is not permissible.

Procedure of Admission

Online off campus Admission Procedure:


After getting approval from AICTE and affiliation from concerned university, Institute has to take permission from competent authority for college level counselling.

Institute shall conduct College Level Counseling (CLC). Institute shall constitute a counselling committee at institution level consisting Principal, Management representative and HOD of concerned branch.

Institute will give advertisement on local news papers mentioning branch wise vacancies and date of college level counseling.

List of admitted candidates should be submitted within 7 days after last date of admission as declared by the competent authority i.e. 14th August 2014.

General Information of admission:
Admission shall be done through College Level Counselling on the basis of common merit lists.
Admission shall be done through College Level Counselling on the basis of the common ranking list. The programme of Counselling shall be published in various news papers.
