Rochester Institute of Technology is a type of private university.
It was established in the year 1829.

The Kate Gleason College of Engineering provides chemical engineering courses.

It offers:

BS in ChemE:
Chemical engineering applies the core scientific disciplines of chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics to transform raw materials or chemicals into more useful or valuable forms, invariably in processes that involve chemical change

Capstone:
This is the first course in a two-course sequence for Capstone Design. The course is taught in a workshop structure with lectures and in-class application of concepts

BS/MS:

Minor:
A minor in chemical engineering systems analysis provides students with a sophisticated understanding of the application of scientific knowledge to the solution of a vast array of practical problems in which chemistry plays a critical role.
