Re: Rmit itas
As you have asked about the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) of RMIT University, I am giving you information about it, check below for the details ITAS is a specialised tutorial program established by the Commonwealth Government to improve the education of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. ITAS offers free tuition for courses in a student's main education program, not for short or bridging courses. At RMIT, ITAS is managed by the Ngarara Willim Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. ITAS is for students who are doing well in their programs and would like to keep ahead, or for those who feel they need additional tutoring. Students in their first year of tertiary study are especially encouraged to use ITAS, although it is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at any level. Students can apply for: Two hours per course (subject) per week (maximum) of tutoring An additional five hours of tutoring for exam preparation. Eligibility To be eligible for ITAS, you must be: An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student enrolled in a study program that has already commenced or will commence within one month Seeking tuition for courses (subjects) in your study program or seeking skills needed to complete your study program Able to demonstrate the likely benefits of the tuition Contact: RMIT University Public university in Melbourne, Victoria Address: 124 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia |
