I want to know the role of Chemist in Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) so can you please tell me?

A chemist is a scientist who studies the composition and properties of chemicals and the way chemicals interact with each other.

Chemists search for new information about matter and ways this information can be applied.

Chemists also design and develop instruments to study matter.

Chemists Perform routine laboratory testing tasks using equipment such as balances, pipettes, pH meters, UV/Visible spectrophotometer, Total Organic Carbon analyzer.

Define problems and objectives, develop approach, analyze results and provide recommendations

Prepare paperwork, supplies, and equipment for use in the manufacturing environment and analytical laboratory.

ONGC Chemist Eligibility-

Post graduation in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks.

Age limit-

Candidates age limit should be 2 30 years for General, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ ST and Ex Serviceman candidates

Relaxation of age will be applicable to Departmental candidates as per rules.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on Weightage of GATE Score, Qualification & Interview.
