Exam Pattern

The exam for the RPF and RPSF posts will be of Objective type i.e., Multiple Choice Questions.

These will be total of 120 questions from the various subjects that are given below.

Question will be from the topics general awareness, reasoning and arithmetic.

The exam will for a total of 120 Marks.

For every wrong answer, there will be negative marking.

The total duration of the exam is 2 Hours.

Syllabus
General Intelligence: Number Series, Alphabet Series, Non-Verbal Series, Analogy, Coding, Decoding, Number Ranking, Directions, Arithmetical Reasoning, Decision Making, Blood Relations, Clocks & Calendars, Mirror Images, Cubes and Dice and Embedded Figures.

General Knowledge: General Awareness – Railways, History & Culture, Indian Society, Indian Geography, Polity, Development Programmers, Economics, Ecology and Environment, Science and Technology and Current Affairs – National & International Importance.

Arithmetic: Number System, Simplification, Decimal & Fractions, Profit and Loss, Percentages, Problems on Ages, Average, Ratio and Proportions, Mixtures & Allegations, HCF & LCM, Simple & Compound Interest, Time and Work, Time and Distance and Data Interpretation etc.

Selection procedure
The selection process of the RPF and RPSF Police constable include the following rounds.

Candidates will be selected for these constable posts based on the performance in those rounds.
