RGTS:
RTGS is a system which enables banks and financial institutions to transfer funds to one another, on their own or on behalf of their customers, on an immediate, final and irrevocable basis during the business hours specified by RBI.

Minimum amount:
Minimum Amount for RTGS Customer transfer is 2,00,000/- .

Timing:
The RTGS time window with effect from September 1, 2015 will be as under :
Regular days including Saturdays, except Second and Fourth Saturdays of the Month
8.00 A.M. to 4.00 P.M.

Service Charges to be recovered from customers inclusive of time varying charges and service tax for RTGS transactions

2.00 lakh to 5.00 lakh Above 5.00 lakh
From 08.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs 25 50
After 12.00 hrs to 15.30 hrs 25 50
After 15.30 hrs to 16.30 hrs 25 50
For inter Bank 15.30 Hours to 19.45 Hours

Branches will remit the funds 15 to 20 minutes before end of operating session mentioned above to avoid liquidity problems / cancellation of messages.
