Can you provide me the rules for Change of College in VTU or Visvesvaraya Technological University for the academic year 2015—2016 as announced by the University only?

With reference to the Change of College for the academic year 2015—2016, the Principals of all colleges (Constituent, Affiliated, Autonomous) under VTU or Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi need to follow the guidelines given below for permitting Change of College.

1. Change of College is restricted to only odd semesters of BB. f B. Tech/ B Arch i.e. II], V and Vii B.E,/ B. Tech and additionally for IX incase of B.Arch. In case of Change of College from Autonomous to VTU scheme & vice versa and Change of College is permitted in ill and V semesters only.


2. At present the students admitted in Second Shift and SNQ Quota are not eligible for Change of College.

The procedure for Change of College is as per Anncxure — l

The process must be completed within [5 days from the date of announcement of results.

The NOC issued after the last date will not be considered by the University.

Change of College with Change of branch is permitted only at the beginning of ill semester Fee

a) Change of College : Rs. 2500/-

b) Change of College with Change of branch Rs. 5,000

Further, the Principals of Engineering Colleges Constituent Affiliated to Autonomous under VTU are hereby requested not to allow any students from other Colleges Universities to seek admission or to attend classes without prior (without prior approval of University ( VT U).
