Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility (SAIF), was Established at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, in the year 1976 .

SAIF, IIT Bombay Houses a variety of major analytical instruments which are operated and maintained by a dedicated and qualified group of Scientists and Engineers.

Registration :

Absolutely essential .

It gives you a priority number and us a reference to your sample. SAIF office serves as the registration desk.


Schedule of Charges

Kindly add Service Tax 14.5% (w.e.f. from 15th Nov 2015) on Instrument Charges

An additional charge of Rs.100/- is applicable for Speed Post to all users getting their result by these means. Dispatch address will be same as address on letter head.

Service Tax is applicable to all the users and is calculated as per current rate 14.5 %
