Re: Salary after MBA and MCA
MBA and MCA, both are post graduate degree programs, and selecting one of the two is a big confusion among the students who have completed their BCA course or those who are graduated in B.Sc (IT) or BCA. BCA, have a technical education, and choosing for MCA will take the students to more technical career. On the other hand, an MBA will direct the students towards administration, leadership and managerial career. Master of Computer Application (MCA): MCA is a postgraduate course spans over a period of three years and divided into 6 semesters. Graduate degree with Mathematics or Statistics at 10+2 / degree level is required to be eligible to apply for a usual MCA program. This master’s course is planned to provide students with advanced technical skills like software development, latest programming languages, algorithm design, computer networks, database management and other subjects related to IT. After MCA: The MCA course makes students to get jobs under technical profiles such as Web Developers, Software Programmers, Designers, System Analysts, Software Testers and other IT related profiles. And if the applicant is really skilful then can get high salary packages in big companies. Master of Business Administration (MBA): MBA is a PG program spans over a period of two years and divided into 4 semesters. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and good score in entrance test is required to be eligible to apply for a characteristic MBA program. This master’s course is planned to impart management skills among the students. It helps students be acquainted with administration, leadership and business skills more deeply. MBA also provides thorough, deep understanding of business economic system After MBA: An MBA degree leads the applicants to management positions of any business organization. A qualified MBA holder has the ability to get job profiles like Accountant, Business Manager, Executive Recruiter, Finance Manager, Advertising Executive, Marketing Executive and higher administrative positions like CEO etc. However an MBA fresher typically gets lesser salary than the MCA one, but the salary package gets really high for higher positions |
