Sardar Patel College of Engineering under the administration of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, was established by Kulapati Dr. K.M.Munshi. It was set up to take care of the developing demand for designing ability. The school was introduced by the principal Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1962. The school is committed to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a prominent country developer of autonomous India.
