SASTRA UNIVERSITY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR B.TECH ADMISSIONS

Candidates willing to apply for the SASTRA University B.Tech Admissions must have cleared the 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects along with lone of these as optional, Bio-Technology/ Chemistry/ Computer Science/Biology

Candidates must have to be an Indian and have passed the qualifying exam from any of the Central Board/ State Board or any other equivalent institution with a minimum score of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics all together

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR SASTRA UNIVERSITY B.TECH ADMISSIONS
70% of candidates shall be selected on the basis of the scores secured in JEE Main 2016 along with the scores of 10+2 board examinations

For the remaining 30% of the candidates the aggregate +2 marks shall be considered for the admissions

The ranks shall be derived by taking an aggregate of 75% weight-age to the normalized aggregate +2 marks and 25% weight-age from the JEE Main scores

Development fees Rs.10,000/- (one-time payment at the time of admission)
Miscellaneous Rs. 7,000/- (one-time payment at the time of admission)
