How I can link Aadhar card with account at State Bank of India (SBI) through SMS ? Also tell how I can know status of Aadhar Linking ?

As you want I am here telling you process to link Aadhar card with account at State Bank of India (SBI) through SMS.

Aadhaar Linking through SMS:

If customer mobile number is registered with the Bank, then he/she can send SMS to 567676 in the following format:

UID(space)Aadhaar number(space)Account number

Status of linking of Aadhar :

After sending SMS in above format :

If the mobile number is not registered or in case the Aadhaar is already linked to Account, an SMS reply will be sent .

If mobile number is registered with the Bank, customer will receive an SMS confirmation of the seeding request.

Aadhaar number will be verified by Bank with UIDAI.

In case it fails verification, SMS will be sent to Customer to contact any SBI branch along with Aadhaar number or e-aadhaar.

In this way you can get info about the status of linking of Aadhar .
