What is the aim of conducting OJM Internal Exam by State Bank Of India (SBI)? Tell about the promotion/ career path for a clerk ?

OJM Internal Exam is conducted by State Bank Of India (SBI) for employees to make a shift to the officer’s cadre.

To appear in this exam a clerk should have 6 year of experience to get a shift to PO post under the fast track promotion channel.

Or
should have 12 year of experience to get a shift to PO post under normal promotion channel..

After this exam candidate get perks equivalent to that of a PO but the salary is relatively lesser.
