I heard that Application are invited by Directorate of Collegiate Education (DCE), Thiruvananthapuram for the Central Sector Scholarship (Renewal) so please provide me Notifications and give detailed information about Scholarship Statistics (Renewal)?

The Department of Collegiate Education Govt. of Kerala offers following types of Scholarships: Post Matric Scholarship(PMS) State Merit Scholarship(SMS) District Merit Scholarship(DMS) Hindi Scholarship(HS) Muslim Nadar Girls Scholarship(MNS) C H Muhammedkoya Scholarship(MGS) Music Fine Arts Scholarship(MFAS) Scholarship for dependent of Jawans(JS) Merit Scholarship to the Children of School Teachers(MSCT) Suvarna Jubilee Merit Scholarship(SJMS) Blind/PH Scholarship(BPHFC) Sanskrit Scholarship(SSE) Central Sector Scholarship(CSS) Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Details Rate of Scholarship Amount equivalent to Admission and Course/Tuition Fee and Maintenance allowance Eligibility Condition Should be the First Year student of i. Plus Two/ UG/ PG/ Ph.D Course of Higher Secondary School/ College/ Institutes/ University, which is either a Govt/ Aided/Recognised Unaided Institution. OR ii. 11th Class/Technical/ Vocational Course of ITI/ITC Centres affiliated to NCVT. OR iii. Course, other than those listed in under merit-cum-means scholarship scheme. The names of courses listed under Merit-cum-means scholarship are given in See Instructions for details. Should belong to Minority Community (Muslim/ Christian/ Buddhists/ Sikh/ Zoroastrians or Parsis). Should have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous Board/ University Examination. The Annual Family Income should not exceed Rs. 2 Lakhs. Should not be availing any other Scholarship or Stipend. Central Sector Scholarship Eligibility Details Rate of Scholarship: Under Graduate Students: Rs.1000/- per month for (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for an academic year) Rs. 2000/- per month for Post-Graduatestudies (Subject to a Maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for an academic year), providedthey are selected for Scholarship at UG level. Professional Courses: Rs.1000/- per month for the first three years (Subject toa Maximum of Rs. 10,000/- for an academic year) Rs. 2000/- per month forthe 4th and 5th years of study (Subject to a maximum of Rs. 20,000/- for anacademic year) Eligibility: Applicant should be pursuing any Regular Course at Under-Graduate Degree level in any recognised Educational Institution, including Professional Courses such as Medical, Engineering etc. Students pursuing Parallel/ Private Registration/ Correspondence/ Distance Education courses are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Parental income Both Father and Mother should not exceed Rs 6 lakhs per annum for the financial year ending March 2013 Applicant should not be availing any other scholarships/ Financial Assistance.
