School of Planning and Architecture Lateral Entry
Can you tell me about the Admission Requirements and Procedure for admission in Ph D program offered by SPA or School of Planning and Architecture through Lateral Entry? The vision of SPA or School of Planning and Architecture is to make it into a distinguished centre of research, innovation, learning, capacity building and scholarly inquiry to become a globally competitive institution by 2025. SPA or School of Planning and Architecture does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in any of its Programs even Ph D too. Ph D Eligibility Master's Degree in Urban Planning or Regional Planning or Environmental Planning or Housing or Transport Planning or Landscape Architecture or Urban Design or Architectural Conservation or Building Engineering and Management or Industrial Design conducted by the School, or equivalent from any other recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks; or Bachelor's Degree in Planning or Architecture of the School or its equivalent from any other recognized university or institution with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks and 5 years experience in teaching, research or professional practice. There is a relaxation in the aggregate marks specified above may be made in case of exceptionally qualified applicants. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PC/OBC Candidates Reservations are applicable as per rules of the Govt. of India.
