The Architecture & Planning Department, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology MANIT Bhopal was established in 1963.

The Department offers B. Architecture degree program and post graduate course in Housing and Urban Planning.

The department is regular winner of NASA trophies.

The alumni of the department are successful as practicing architects all over the country and even in government/semi government organizations .

Some of the alumni are academicians in various national and state level institutions.
