The vocational degree course in Computer Applications was started in Patna Science College of Patna University from session 2001-2002. To meet the growing demand of qualified computer personnel the teaching of 3 year Honours degree course in Computer Application was started in Patna Science College.

Eligibility

For admission one must have passed the intermediate Examination of a Board/University/+2 or equivalent examination in Science with Mathematics as a subject

The qualifying percentage of marks as per the reservation category is:
General : 55%
SC/ST/BC-I : 45%
BC-II : 55%

Fee Structure

Tuition Fee : Rs. 18,000/- per academics session.
Miscellaneous fees : Rs. 500/- per academic session.
Caution Money : Rs. 2,000.- for Full Course (Refundable)

Duration of the Course and Course Format
The course is of three academics sessions.
On successful completion of course and passing out the requisite examinations (at the end of each session), will be awarded the B.Sc. (Vocational) Hons Degree in Computer Application of Patna University.
Besides the main vocational subject of Computer Application, the incumbent is required to study two subsidiary subjects – Mathematics and Statistics.
