Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is the test conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

CTET is written by 10 lac people while online 10% (1 lac) people qualify. The competition for Govt. Job is therefore very tough.

Well it is the mandate from the Government that teachers appointed after March 2012 in any CBSE school has to be CTET qualified.

Scope Of Job After CTET

There are over 17000 CBSE affliated schools in the country and mostly all the schools have high attrition every year

After getting the certificate you can apply for various teaching exams conducted by State government (DSSSB), kendriya Vidhyala(KVS)

You can also apply for contractual jobs for the posts PRT and TGT under DSSSB.

Also, you are eligible to apply for various vacant PRT and TGT posts in private school.

CTET Fees

CATEGORY Only Paper – I or II Both Paper – I & II

General/OBC Rs.600/- Rs.1000/-

SC/ST/Differently Abled Person Rs.300/- Rs.500/-

CTET Eligibility

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education
