The TOEFL® test is the most widely accepted English-language test in the world. More than 9,000 colleges, universities, agencies and other institutions in over 130 countries accept TOEFL test scores.

Total Score 310 to 677

The raw score for each section is converted by statistical means to a number on what is called the TOEFL test scale.

The TOTAL paper-delivered test score is reported on a scale that ranges from 310 to 677.

TWE® Scores

The TWE® score is reported on a scale of 1 to 6 and printed in a separate box on the TOEFL score report.

It is not added to the TOEFL score.

A score between two points on the scale (for example, 5.5, 3.5) can also be reported.

To earn a score, you must do all of the following-

Answer at least one question in Listening Comprehension

Answer at least one question in Reading Comprehension

Answer at least one question in Structure and Written Expression
