Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Bihar according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.

As you asking I am telling to become Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Bihar, you have to appear and qualify in Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination conducted by Bihar State Education board.

Its examination is conducted in three stages and Applicants have to qualify in all three stages for final selection for recruitment.

Applicants passed graduation from recognised university are eligible to appear for examination. So, you need to appear and qualify in examination for final selection.
