As you want I am here telling you process of selection for job in Indian Air Force (IAF) through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Selection Procedure: First step to get job in Indian Air Force (IAF) is Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Candidates who will be short-listed on the basis of AFCAT will be called for testing at one of the Air Force Selection Boards (AFSCs). Testing would consist of stages as : Stage-I Test consisting of Intelligence Test Stage-II testing consisting of Psychological test, Group tests and interview Who qualify above tests are selected for the IAF . AFCAT Examinations pattern: Time Limit : 2 Hours No of Questions :100 Positive Marks:3 Negative Marks:1 Examination Type :MCQ Exam syllabus: General Awareness : History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc Verbal Ability in English : Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. Numerical Ability : Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test : Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability |
