B. Sc in Animation focuses on creative & innovative filmmaking and professional practice. It is structurally designed to elevate one’s creativity to meet industrial standards. It lays special emphasis on fundamental traditional skills of animation.

Program Structure

B Sc in Animation and VFX will be a 3-year degree programme. The eligibility to join B Sc in Animation and Visual Effects is 10 + 2 in any stream. Only 50 seats are available.

Year 1
One is introduced to aspects of drawing such as anatomy, gestures, perspective and layout.
One learns about classical and digital art, story boarding and storytelling, animation production process and various techniques of animation.

Year 2
One consolidates understanding and move further towards specialized forms of animation.
One also continues development through movie analysis and appreciation, 3D animation, pre and post-production and lighting and camera techniques.

Year 3
In the final stage, one learns game art and specialized forms of 3D art, alongside studio design and project management.
One also assigned a project towards the end of the third year.
