Eligibility and Essential Qualifications BE/ BTech Final Year Students, 6 months training duration: Students who are studying for their BTech/BE degrees are eligible to apply Students must be pursuing their BTech/ BE/ MTech/ME degrees from a University recognized by the UGC MTech/ME students must have a GATE score, not necessarily a qualifying/valid GATE score Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE scores. Selection procedure: BTech Final Year Students, 6 months training duration: Selection for training with CSIR-CSIO will depend strictly on the demand from researchers and the number of applicants. Preference will be given to students from Institutes of National Importance and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions. Training Cost: BTech Final Year Students, 6 months training duration: A one-time fee to cover the cost of training and overheads of 10,000 (plus taxes as per GOI regulations) will be payable by the trainee at the time of selection at CSIO.
