The State Level Eligibility Test is conducted for the candidates in the posts of Lecturer at the state level colleges and universities in India. The Government of Assam has conducted the SLET Exam for the following states coming under the North East Region namely: Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Sikkim, Tripura and Assam respectively.

Eligibility

Candidate must be Indian citizen

Post Graduate degree or its equivalent with at least 55% marks

5% relaxation will be available to candidates belonging to SC/ST or Physically Disabled category.

No Age limit for this exam
