Central Bank of India offers SMS Banking service . Under this service customers of the bank can receive SMS Alerts and can get detail of account through SMS. SMS Alerts: Customers of the bank can receive SMS Alerts automatically When : customer account is Debited / Credited for more than Rs.5000/- or as per customer request for amount greater than Rs.5000/-. Or a cheque issued by customer is dishonored for want of funds. Or balance in customer's account becomes below the minimum balance level on account of certain debit transactions, an alert will go to customer to fund the account. Or Alerts informing the customer about maturity of his fixed deposit. This alert will be sent seven days before the maturity date. SMS Enquiry: For Account related enquiries on: Balance Enquiry Last 5 transactions Cheque Status Enquiry through SMA by sending a message in predefined format to 99675-33228.
