Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is a unique Public-Private Partnership between the Government of Sikkim and Manipal Education and Medical Group.

This SMU was launched in 1995, the University offers graduate and post graduate degree courses in Management and IT.

The university offers courses such as MBA, MCA, BCA and BBA.

All these programs are recognised and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
