Well the St Mary's University has a long tradition of teacher training since 1850 and about a third of our students are involved in some form of teacher education.

The Primary PGCE programme provides an intense training experience which combines academic rigour with personal and professional learning experiences.

The training is designed to meet the needs of each trainee to support and develop the skills, knowledge and attributes needed to start a teaching career

As a successful PGCE Secondary trainee teacher at St Mary's, you will:

addition to the recommendation for QTS.
