South Eastern Coalfields Limited is the biggest coal delivering organization in the nation. The coal stores of South Eastern Coalfields Limited are spread more than two States, to be specific, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh and the Company is working 89 mines with 35 Mines in the State of Madhya Pradesh and 54 Mines in the State of Chhattisgarh other than a Coal Carbonization Plant to be specific Dankuni Coal Complex (DCC) at Dankuni in West Bengal on rent premise from Coal IndiaLimited.

For powerful authoritative control and operation,the mines have been assembled in three Coalfields, specifically, Central India Coalfields (CIC), Korba Coalfields and Mand-Raigarh Coalfields with 13 working Areas.
