Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University is a private university located in Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab not in Chandigarh.

It is recognized by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, in the year 2010, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering.

The Department currently offers M.Tech integrated 5 Years, M.Tech. 02 Years programs and Ph.D. program .

B.Tech.

Seats: 30

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility: 50% marks in 10+2 with Non-medical or 3 year Diploma or equivalent (for lateral entry in 2nd year of course)

Ph.D.

Duration: Minimum 3 years.

Eligibility: 55% marks in Post-graduation.

The University admits Ph.D. students through Ph.D. Entrance test conducted by the University. The students who have qualified UGC (NET)/ UGC-CSIR (JRF) examination/ SLET/ GATE and foreign students sponsored by ICCR or any other applicable test conducted by notified authority of Government of India for the purpose, will be exempted from Ph.D. entrance test, subject to approval of the Vice-Chancellor.

M.Tech.

Duration: 2 year

Eligibility: B. Tech./ B.E. (CSE/IT any branch of Electronics Engineering)/ M.Sc. (CS/IT)/ MCA with at least 50% marks in aggregate/ equivalent grade point from recognized University.

M.Tech.5 Year Integrated Course

Seats: 30

Duration: 5 year

Eligibility: 10+2 (Medical or Non-Medical) with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board/ Council.
