Tentative dates Sale of application starts October 3rd week, 2017 Last date for receipt of application March last week, 2017 Slot Booking March last week, 2017 to April 1st week, 2017 Download of Hall ticket March last week, 2017 to April 1st week, 2017 Online Entrance Examination (CBT) April rd week, 2017 to April last week, 2017 Exam pattern i) General: Question paper will be only in English ii) Questions are of objective type iii) Each question has 4 alternate answers iv) The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded SRMJEEE - 2017 Pattern of Question Paper Part 1: Physics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks Part 2: Chemistry 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks Part 3: Mathematics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks Part 4: Biology 50 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks Total weightage 315 marks Negative mark of 1 for every wrong answer in physics, chemistry & mathematics and 0.7 for every wrong answer in biology Selection procedure The candidates short-listed based on their performance in the entrance examination will be called for the counseling to be held at the SRM University premises in Kattankulathur-603203, Chennai Eligibility For B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent from any recognized board For All programs: Candidates must have acquired a least combined of 70% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. For Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering: Minimum 70% combined in Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. For B. Des: Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent from any recognized board in the academic stream having a minimum total aggregate of 70%.
