SRM University is going to conduct SRMJEEE entrance exam to grant admission to aspirants into undergraduate engineering courses

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a university level entrance test administrated by the SRM University.

It is a common entrance test for SRM University (All Campuses). Through SRMJEEE exam, students will get admission in the B.Tech & M.Tech courses.

VIT University, also known as Vellore Institute of Technology, formerly known as Vellore Engineering College, is a private university in Tamil Nadu, India.

The VIT University is the main authority which organizes a university level entrance examination. This examination is known as VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE)

About SRMEEE

SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination or SRMJEEE is conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission to B.Tech programmes offered by the institute.

Qualification required:

Qualifying Examination

A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing for Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology as major subjects in the full-time stream from any State Board, CBSE, ICSE, Matriculation, or NIOS.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, or an A-level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology / Botany & Zoology /Biotechnology as major subjects from any international school.
Candidates who have completed both 10th Standard as well as 12th Standard in NIOS, are not considered for admission to any programme of SRM.
Minimum eligibility criteria in PCM / PCB for each campus and programme posted in the official website of the respective universities

About VITEEE

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) will conduct VITEEE 2020 exam for admission in B.Tech across for all its campuses at Vellore and Chennai as well as the universities in Amravati and Bhopal.

Qualifying exam::

The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for
Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi.
Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University.
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
As per VIT Norms, Regular 'NIOS' board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE. They should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

Exam pattern

All Questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)
The aptitude section in VITEEE will be in addition to subjects viz. Maths or Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English. The number of questions for the respective sections in VITEEE will be, Maths or Biology (40 questions), Physics (35 questions), Chemistry (35 questions), Aptitude (10 questions) and English (5 questions).
