SSC CGL Change Exam Date

I have already applied for the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) 2016 Exam and heard about the change in date for this exam. Will you please provide details of SSC CGL Change Exam Date provide all important dates also suggest me books for doing this exam preparation?

SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) 2016 Exam, is the one for those, who are looking for Group B Jobs under the Central Govt Departments and Ministries.

Important dates:

Important Dates for SSC CGL 2016 Tier- I

Starting Date of registration procedure
13th February 2016

Last Date of registration Part I
14th March 2016 extended to 21st March 2016

Last date of application Part II
extended to 24th March 2016

Examination Date (SSC CGL 2016 Tier-I)
8th and 22nd May 2016

SSC CGL Change Exam Date:

SSC CGL exam date which is scheduled on 8th and 22nd May 2016 has been extended and will be held in August 2016

Important Dates for SSC CGL 2016 Tier-2

Examination Date (SSC CGL 2016 Tier-II) 13th and 14th August 2016

Eligibility:

Age-Limit: The minimum required age is 18 years and maximum required age is 28 years.Age Relaxations are there as per the Government of India Rules.

Educational Qualification: The minimum required Qualification is Graduation only

SSC CGL Offers primarily two types of Jobs:

1) Desk Job
2) Field Job

Exam pattern:

The exam is of Objective type i.e it consists of Multiple Choice Questions.
The Exam consists of 4 sections i.e General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitaive Ability, English etc.
Duration of the exam is 2 Hours.
The exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks.
The exam consists of 200 Questions.
There is a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.
Each Question carries 1 Mark.
