SSC CHSL Job Details
When I will pass in SSC CHSL Examination, what type of job I will get, tell me? I don’t have any information about types of job after clearing SSC CHSL Examination. Tell me about total rounds for selection for DEO and LDC Position? Give me details about selection procedure. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has conducted the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level CHSL Tier-I exam in Computer Based Mode from January 7 to February 8, 2017. Candidates qualifying the Tier-I exam will be called for Tier-II Descriptive Test. The commission will conduct the Tier-II exam on April 9, 2017. Based on the performance of the candidates in Tier I and II, number of vacancies and preferences of posts, aspirants will be recruited against 5134 vacancies to the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk and Court Clerk. SSC CHSL 2016 Important Dates Release of the notification October 7, 2016 Release of Application Form October 8, 2016 The last date to fill the Application form November 25, 2016 The last date to pay the Application fee (Online) November 25, 2016 The last date to pay the Application fee (Offline) November 25, 2016 Checking of the State of Application form To be notified later Release of E- Admit Card December 2016 Date of Computer Based Test January 7 to February 8, 2017 Declaration of Result for Stage 1 CBT March 2017 Descriptive Test April 9, 2017 Declaration of result for Descriptive Test May/June 2017 Typing/Skill Test June/July 2017 Declaration of Final Result August/September 2017 SSC CHSL Eligibility Criteria Candidate should have passed class XII or intermediate exam or equivalent from a state or central recognised institute. Age Limit- Candidate’s age must be between 18 years and 27 years Candidates should be a citizen of India SSC CHSL Exam Pattern The Commission has included one more tier in the scheme of examination which is a Descriptive Test. Tier I – Computer Based Test There shall be 4 parts of the single question paper. 25 questions each would be asked from these sections. These parts are – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. Weightage of each section is 50 marks. Duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes. The Paper will consist of objective type (multiple choice questions) only. Questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Serial Subject Marks Questions 1 General Intelligence (Basic Knowledge) 25 50 2 English Language (Basic Knowledge) 25 50 3 Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) 25 50 4 General Awareness (Current Affairs) 25 50 Tier II – Descriptive Test: The Tier-II Paper of SSC CHSL 2016 will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks. The test will be conducted in ‘Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the paper would be for one hour. Tier-III – Typing /Skill Test: The Tier-III Examination will be the Skill Test / Typing Test.
