The SSC CGL is government exam. This exam is provides you a government job. Taken by Staff selection Commission on National Level Combined Graduate level exam is held every year for the recruitment of various Gazzeted and Non-Gazzeted posts in the Central Government departments.

The SCC Graduate level exam is assumed more important after 2010 as it is the only test left after scraping all the other SSC exams like Tax assistant exam, Section Officer's exam, SSC CPO exam , and Statistical Investigator exam etc. to recruit people in Government departments.
