Staff Selection Commission SSC conducts all India examination for recruitment of police personnel (SI & ASI) in Delhi Police and four Central Armed Police Forces CAPF organisations - BSF, CISF, CRPF and ITBP. This exam also includes recruitment for Intelligence Officer vacancies in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Eligibility Criteria Bachelor Degree in any disciplined from a recognised university Or Equivalent. Age Eligibility: Minimum 20 years and maximum 25 years as on 1 January of the year of exam. Exam Pattern Exam consists of a 400 marks written test, which consists of 2 papers: Paper-I & Paper-II. Each paper is of 200 marks. Those short listed after PET & medical test are called for a 100 mark interview. Based on the relative performance of all the candidates in Paper-I, those scoring above the cut-off will be called for Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Medical test (both are only qualifying in nature). If you clear PET & medical test, the marks you scored in both Paper-I & II would be aggregated and shortlisting would be done to call you for the 100 mark Personality Interview Test. Paper I Questions Marks Part A General Intelligence & Reasoning 50 50 Part B GK & General Awareness 50 50 Part C Quantitative Aptitude 50 50 Part D English Comprehension 50 50 200 200 PET/Medical Test (Qualifying) Paper II English Language & Comprehension 200 200 Interview (Personality Test) 100 All the questions are of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions. There is negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer. |
