SSC: Secondary School Certificate
HSC: Higher Secondary Examination

SSC and HSC both are board exam but the major difference is SSC is a secondary examination this conducts only 10th class exam and in other hand HSC is higher secondary exam conducts 12th class exams.

SSC:

The Secondary School Certificate Examination is a public examination in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan conducted as completion exam of secondary education.

Students of 10th grade/class ten appear in these examinations. It is an equivalent to GCSE in England.

In India, 10th board exam is usually conducted in the month of March and April by most of the boards of education in India.

HSC:

Higher Secondary Examination is a centralised examination for class 12 students in Bangladesh, India and Nepal.

All the State School Education Boards, CBSE, CISCE and NIOS conduct exams during the period of March–April every year for students in their affiliated private and public schools.

12th class exam or HSC exam is conducted at the state level by the state boards of education and at the national level by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This examination is conducted once a year.
