SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level CGL Examination for recruitment of candidates for different central govt jobs. One of the many profiles on offer through SSC CGL examination is the post of Statistical Investigator (Gr II). Statistical Investigator (Gr II) eligibility- Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized university or institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level OR Bachelor's Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level Age limit - Max 32 years Stages of Examination: Two Tier Written Objective Exam including the Paper of Stats, followed by Document Verification Salary and allowances - (i) Pay Scale 9300-34800 (ii) Grade Pay 4200 (iii) Initial Pay 9300 (iv) Total Pay (i) + (ii ) 13500 As a Statistical Investigator you will be entitled to the following major allowances: 1. DA on Total Pay above (around 107 %) 2. Transport Allowance 3. House Rent Allowance(if not provided with quarters) 4. Petrol allowance 5. Limited bill for mobile 6. When on a field work you will be entitled for certain allowances. According to current pay scales, You would get a salary of around 38,000/- pm initially (can be varied a little as per place of posting) |
