SSC stenographer criteria
Please tell me what is the eligibility needed to apply for the post of the stenographer which is conducted by the staff selection commission? Also tell me about the educational qualification needed? Will you please give me the details of the number of posts available for the stenographer which is conducted by the staff selection commission?

SSC Staff Selection Commission will release notification for SSC Stenographer recruitment on June 17, 2017 Eligibility: These eligibility criteria are mentioned below: Nationality (a) Any Indian Citizen can apply for the openings. (b) Citizen of the following countries is also allowed and is eligible to apply for the openings: (c) Nepal (d) Bhutan (e) Tibetan refugee, subject to their arrival in India with an intention of settling permanently, before 1 January 1962. (f) Subjects who were Indian born but might have migrated to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries and many such countries are eligible for applying. All the above categories, except (a) must have proper certificate of eligibility of staying in India from the Government of India. Age limit The Candidates born not before 02-08-1989 and not later than 01-08-1998 are eligible for the examination. It means the candidate must be in the age bracket of 18-27 years. Academic Criteria The candidates must be at least 12th Standard Pass or any equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
