In SSC CGL exam if you have qualified for TAX ASSISTANT post of non-interview posts then he will be called for typing test.

Typing Test for TAX ASSISTANT

It only includes a typing for 15 Minutes.

And you will have to type the printed passage in the computer in 15 Minutes.

That means 27 WPM speed.

The test is qualifying in nature. You just have to pass them.

How to prepare for Typing Test -

Use NOTEPAD/WORDPAD for typing practice as they are very similar to the typing software of SSC.

It is always good to have separate keyboard if you have a laptop.

You can use any passage from kids books, magazine, newspaper or any other printed material for typing.

Make sure to type maximum words in 15 minutes only.

You can check your speed by copy-pasting the material you have typed in NOTEPAD into the MS WORD as it will tell you no. of words you have typed.

Just divide the no. of words by 15 as you have typed that material in 15 minutes. And in that way you will know you speed.
