The Summer Institute for General Management (SIGM) will provide you with the tools you need to distinguish yourself and get hired. SIGM is a four-week residential program that provides participants with a strong foundation in business management fundamentals. Eligibility The SIGM curriculum is designed for non-business majors. You are invited to apply if you are a: College sophomore, junior, or senior Recent college graduate or graduate student who has completed an undergraduate degree no earlier than May 2013 Certificate of Completion Upon completion participants receive a certificate of completion endorsed by Stanford GSB’s dean and SIGM’s faculty director. To successfully complete the program, participants must: Attend all classes Complete their assignments and group projects Engage with their fellow participants in community-building exercises Academic Experience Participants will: Develop a strong foundation in business and management fundamentals Learn from the same faculty who teach the Stanford MBA Program Participate in professional development opportunities Engage with business and nonprofit leaders from leading companies Build a diverse network of talented peers from around the world Admission SIGM is designed for undergraduates and recent college graduates who majored in non-business fields.
