SBI PO (State Bank of India Probationary Officer) basic Salary is Rs.23, 700/- . In addition to it, 4 additional increments also apply as per the pay scale of 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7- 42020.

Along with the basis pay, Probationary Officer is entitled to receive various benefits and special allowances such as Capital Cost Allowance (CCA), Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Servant Allowance, etc.

 Leased Accommodation:
Along with the basic pay, officers are also given the facility of Leased Accommodation, as per the lieu of HRA. However, the amount granted for lease accommodation is not given in cash; it is directly handover to the house owner.

 Medical Aid:
Candidates that get appointed as PO will also offer with medical allowances and for this a fixed annual amount is paid (Revised amount is Rs8000/- p.a.).

 Travelling Allowance:
SBI offers fixed amount of travelling allowance which include reimbursement of petrol bills i.e. officer should have own scooter / car at the place of posting.

 Dearness Allowance (DA):
Dearness allowances given to Probationary Officer get revised on quarterly basis, and the current DA is 41.90% of the Basic Pay.

 Special Allowance:
Candidates also get the benefit of special allowance as it is also get added in 10th BPS (with the effect from 01/11/2012) and for scale I is 7.75% on which DA is also payable.
