Gujarat State Eligibility Test (FDDI AIST) is conducted by the Gujarat State Government for applicants to be eligible to appoint as lecturer in university or affiliated colleges belonging to the state of Gujarat.

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda has been authorized as the Agency of the State government to conduct SET for the university and college teachers of Gujarat.

Along with the SET scores, one must fulfill other academic qualifications prescribed for the lecturer post by the UGC.

Gujarat SET 2016 Eligibility:-
One who has completed/ is studying in the final year of a specified Master's Degree from universities / institutions recognized by UGC with minimum 55% marks are eligible to appear in the GSET.

Gujarat SET 2016 Pattern:-
GSET paper contains 3 sections which are of Multiple Choice Questions.

• Section I is of 100 marks which contain 60 questions out of it 50 are to be attempted. Time allotted for solving the paper is 1 hr 15 min.
• Section II is of 100 marks containing 50 questions to be solved in 75 mins.
• Section III is of 150 marks comprising of 75 questions to be solved in 2 hr 30 min.

No negative marking for incorrect answer.
