Well to become software engineer, you need to opt science stream in 11th class with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry subjects

After XII, you have following ways to become software engineer

Option 1:
You can pursue physics chemistry and Maths and end up being an engineer by clearing any of the engineering entrance exam like BITSAT,IIT-JEE,UPTU etc.
- After that you can pursue any of the B.Tech/B.E courses in concerned branch

Option 2:
You can pursue BCA and if looking for higher degree then you can go for MCA after completion of BCA

Option 3:
You can go for certification courses by NIIT, DOEACC.
You can even go for DOEACC exams which are equivalent to BCA/MCA
