Southern Utah University (or SUU) is a public university located in Cedar City, Utah, United States, founded in 1898.

For the last five years The Princeton Review has ranked SUU as a Best Value College and also five years running ranked in the western list of Best Colleges: Region by Region.

In July 2012 the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges recognized SUU, one of only 27 universities in the U.S., as a designated public liberal arts and sciences university.

The SUU MBA program produces capable business leaders who are prepared with the necessary knowledge and skills to make high quality business decisions in either an entrepreneurial or staff capacity.

Admission Requirements:

-Complete an official application for admission to the Master’s of Business Administration.

-Have a completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Students interested in the Master’s of Accountancy (MAcc) or Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) programs will be advised to complete the foundation courses prior to acceptance in the graduate program.

-Submit official transcripts of all academic work prior to admission to the graduate program.

-Acceptance to the graduate program is evaluated upon the combined GMAT/GRE score and the last 60 credits of the undergraduate GPA.

-Non-SUU Business Majors must submit three (3) letters of recommendation from former/current college professors, assigned mentors, supervisors or associates.


General Information:

-A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required each semester to continue in “Good Standing”.

-ADMISSION DEADLINE: March 1ST (summer or fall admission), OCT 1st (spring admission).

-Late applications may be considered depending on space available.
